THE NHS FOOD BANK DRIVE has been extended to Monday, December 19th. So far, it is neck and neck between the Freshmen and the 7th grade classes! If you would like to donate food to the food bank, please bring in your non-perishable items by Monday morning at 9AM. We would love to break last year's record of items donated.
We have had quite a bit of fun at school this week searching for hidden snowflakes. The students looked for blue ones and the staff for silver ones. Kids got a sweet treat from Principals. But staff who found the coveted silver snowflakes received their choice of a Central Lumber gift certificate or an Armory Deli gift certificate! There are still 4 more silver snowflakes to be found. But Mr. Peterson, Mrs. Streeter, Mrs. Eklund and Mrs. Roelfs have had eagle eyes! Keep searching and Merry Christmas.
You can always pay at the gate, but if you are a tech person and want to buy digital tickets for Engineer events, you now have that option! You can also send tickets to relatives or friends who might be traveling this way. Follow the link to get your tickets for upcoming games. If you have questions, contact Mr. Olsen.

As always, we have had some schedule changes with our basketball season. Nothing too major, but note the game times and whether or not there are JV games as some of that information has changed. Future changes are always possible, but fingers crossed that we will stay with this schedule. Thanks for being so flexible and understanding as we try to give our athletes as many opportunities as possible. Go Engineers!
CONGRATULATIONS ENGINEERS!
Yesterday afternoon, our wonderfully large group of Business Professionals of America student competitors traveled to the Regional competition to present and compete in a diverse group of events. Several of them also took tests over the past few weeks that placed them at this competition. 15 of them qualified for State in March. We are so proud of all of them and their advisor, Mrs. Berg. Here are the results for BPA Regionals!

Dear Harlo Community,
Have you been wondering about the FFA Christmas Trees this year? Well, I have great news, even if it is a little late. There should be very freshly farmed Christmas Trees at Midtown on Friday evening. Look for them there and buy them up quick. They won't last long. Thank you all for supporting our FFA program.

Dear Harlowton Families,
Just a quick update to our bus stops in town starting tomorrow.
In the afternoon only, Hillcrest students may now get on the bus to come down to the high school and be dropped off. This will help Hillcrest students who live down in the flats, students who are in extracurricular activities and could use a ride to HHS for practice, and for students of staff members who work at HHS. This means there will be a 5 minute difference in other bus stop times on the East route to accommodate this change.
Please share the word and talk with your child if you would like them to utilize this extra bus stop to get home, to practice or otherwise.
Thank you,
Mrs. B and the Bus Drivers
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Harlowton School Families! We hope you have a wonderful, safe, and restful long weekend with your loved ones. Just a reminder that we have an early release at 2:35 tomorrow afternoon and the buses will run accordingly! Lastly, so much gratitude goes to all the parents who sent in notes of gratitude for our staff here at HPS! We all certainly felt the love.
Go Engineers!
